As the end of the year approaches in a few weeks, several individuals are meticulously preparing for the year ahead. Financial growth and sustainability are among their top five goals for 2026. Insurance is often overlooked while mapping out the strategy to achieve financial goals, even though a well-structured insurance portfolio is one of the smartest tools for long-term stability.

This is why Coronation Life Assurance hosted an insightful webinar themed Build Your 2026 Insurance Portfolio Like a Pro to educate and empower attendees with information about insurance products that will make a difference for them in 2026.

Kehinde Grillo, Head of Partnerships at Coronation Life Assurance, delivered an informative keynote speech with real-life scenarios to set the tone for the webinar. He reemphasized the importance of life audits using the PRO framework, which is to help protect what you cannot afford to lose, reduce exposure to major risks, and optimize for wealth building and cashflow.

The panel session, flawlessly moderated by Vinson Asekhamhe, featured impactful and diverse perspectives from Adaeze Ume and Miller Kingsley, the panelists.

Adaeze Ume, Head of Digital Channels at Access Bank, shared her prediction for how technology will further ease access to insurance, enabling individuals to pay for and manage their policies conveniently via financial apps.

Miller Kingsley, Actuarial Consulting Lead at Ernst & Young, also shared a list of minimum insurance policies for individuals to have in 2026, which included but was not limited to motor insurance, gadget insurance, and health insurance. He also shared that the government is responsible for making specific insurance policies mandatory for individuals and businesses.

Although many Nigerians are sceptical about insurance, this webinar emphasised its undeniable value as one of the most reliable ways to secure life, business, and protect the things that matter most.

Whether you are a business owner who wants to go the extra mile or an individual who wants an armour against the adversities of life, a well-structured insurance portfolio is a must-have in 2026.

Your future is worth protecting, and Coronation Life Assurance is here to help you do it like a pro!
